One of the most important gardens is the Nurseries Garden or Royal Gardens, “Jardín de Viveros o Jardines del Real”. Its origin is from the Muslim period. Inside there was a missing palace used by the kings since the XIII century. There are different sculptures and fountains in addition to its gardening.

The City of Arts and Sciences, located at the end of the ancient Turia´s riverbed, a great and unique complex of about 2 kilometers long dedicated to science and culture which has five main elements: the Hemisfèric (IMAX cinema), the Umbracle (conceived as both a promenade and a panoramic viewpoint), the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum (an innovative museum of interactive science), the Oceanográfico (the largest aquarium in Europe) and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (dedicated to the operatic programme). The Ágora is another element with a multifunctional space.
